Subject: New to this board

Hi there, I just found this board by route of a link at ivillage. This is great!!! I have been looking into starting my own service on the military base that I live on. I have one book, Pet sitting for Profit, could anyone suggest any others? I don't have much planned yet, I am going to be doing kind of a market analysis. I have made up flyers asking if people are interested to leave me their name, address and such and when I get it ok'd through the base, I will contact them. Does this ound like a good way to get started??? Any pointers would really help me.
