Subject: Frustrated with other sitter

I wonder if your rates are flexible for dogs that do not require walking. I know of one sitter who thinks nothing of reducing her rate per visit when she lets the dog out, she tells the clients she spend more than the usual half hour. She also admits to sitting down and watching "her soaps" rather then spending time with the dogs. I have had this debate with her as I always hope to encourage a more professional image for pet sitters. How is that different form the next door neighbor? I also take issue with her lying to clients since her "quality time" is with the t.V NOT the pets.
Little do the clients know that their pets are out back, and unsupervised.
Any opinions?
