Subject: contracts, intro, etc (longish)

Hi all. Wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jennifer and I am in the "research and development" phase of starting my petsitting business. My plan is to be up and running by March; I want to make sure I have everything REALLY well planned, as I want this to be permanent, not something that fails. So, in the meantime, I am trying to educate myself about as much as possible, prepare, pay off bills, etc.
I currently work as a county social worker and have a private practice as a therapist (which I will continue to do). I am married (9 years) and we have an english bull terrier (Ernie), a (rescue) ferret "Farrah" and a horse "Patrick". I ride on an equestrian drill team. I am really excited about petsitting; I love animals and I know that being with animals is what I am supposed to do with my life.
Thanks in advance for all your great info and assistance. I am on another list, (I see many of you from there) but have discovered this one and thinks it is also great.
Just a quick question, Jamie, I saw your post offering to share contracts, etc. I would really appreciate any help with that. I am in the process of starting to piece together some of my paperwork and any "donations" are greatly appreciated.
