IMHO software like the one mentioned here are an extravagance for most sitters. It is expensive and while maybe a nice thing to have, I would spend extra money promoting my business. If someone is quite established however and has some money to burn, but all means spend the bucks for a software program. I find it interesting that these messages are on several boards, so I consider it a telemarketing message if you will. There may even be some here who benefit financially by promoting the product.

Whatever, after being in business for as many years as I have, I have never found the need for accounting software. If we did, meaning we would earn in excess of $100,000/year, I would probably choose a good accounting program like Peachtree, which is an industry standard. Or better yet, hire a full time accountant who would take care of the finances for my business.

Bottom line IMO, check out the demo of PSA, but pass until you are quite well off from your pet sitting enterprise.
