Subject: Bed-ridden client

Hi All,
I have an interview next week to meet with a bed-ridden lady. Her son lives with her & is going on vacation. She has 1 dog & says "lots of watering". She will be at the house of course, while I walk the dog & water. Have any of you done a job like this? I am a little nervous that this will become a "nursemaid" situation. I don't mind filling a water pitcher or getting a magazine or just chatting, but I don't do bedpans. She supposedly has other family members coming to care for these things, I'm wondering why they can't do the dog too? Any comments on this are welcome. I'm just not sure how to handle this one. I'm hoping to get this all clear at the interview. I need a nice way to let her know that I'm not a nurse. ~Sandi~
