I just came from a prospective clients home where I got the strangest vibes from this man. It was a coincidence that my husband was waiting for me in the car and I was so glad he came. This man was extremely friendly, almost to the point of terrifying but I imagine some people try not to intimidate and so they overcompensate. I am petite anyway so most tower over me anyway which is not the best thing anyway.
He has 2 cats and want 2 daily visits and did not flinch at my fixed rate. He was on the phone as he let me in and pointed to the room where the cat was (his bedroom) I walked in as he remianed in the living room and nearly fainted when I saw a rifle laid across the bed. I walked out so fast and tired to remain calm.
We started the interview which I felt very uncomfortable doing but knew of no other way to get out. He described his line of work when I asked his occupation and it had to do with sharp objects and I'll leave it at that.
He claims he is an avid pet lover and is furious at the thought of anyone hurting pets then in the next sentence quite seriously described the time he himself had to kill his cat! AH! I wanted to die as he described buriying it, etc. I know he was not pulling my leg and all I thought was how to get out quick.
Obviously I am fine but am wondering how I could have made a better exit. Wow, please everyone be careful!
