That is such along story I did not even address that.
What also happened is that his trip was postponed and instead of him canceling ahead of time he had me come out and insisted (something no one has EVER done) that I accept a $25 check he wrote out as we spoke. He said he appreciated my coming out and apologized for the change and felt that my showing up was deserving of something. He went so far as to put the check on my clip board. I was adament and put the check on the table telling him that all of my consultation are always free even if the assignment is cancelled. Frankly, I was so unerved by everything I wanted out, no money or obligation. I am sure he thought I was wierd by not accepting.
