I think you take offense too easily. I have a nice husband, nice male friends & have had nice male bosses. That dosen't mean ALL guys are nice! Sometimes the prospect of being inside the private space of someone who outweighs you by 100lbs can be unnerving. Would you tell your wife or daughters "make sure you invite any large strangers into the house if they knock"? I think not. It is the fool who dosen't take precautions.
