Subject: visiting vets and pet /feed stores

i am at 2 1/2 years with my pet sitting and have been visiting the vets and pet/feed shops about every four to six weeks to put up cards and brochures and also give them a dozen doenuts as a thank you. the clients that come from this are of the best repeatable kind. what i want to know how many pet sitters out there do this and for the ones that been in the business for a long time that started out this way are you still marketing you business this way or do you feel the need not to have to do this any more because your client base is alot more like maybe 100 to 300?
