They have a cover queen and cover princess title to go to the child that sells the most program book ads. We sold to pay for our competition. The winning cover girl sold 7 ads, we sold 6 ads. I looked on the back of the program book and my child was NOT on it. So I counted the number of ads the little girl on the back had, and she had 5. I confirmed this with the director and she "apologized" profusely for her mistake. I said it was okay but I wanted to bring it to their attention to correct. On the day of crowning, when it came time to crown the Back cover princess, they still crowned the other little girl and not mine. (the winners got a national level crown, banner, trophy and a ton of gifts and was considered reigning royalty.) I went straight to the director and asked her why she did that and she said "well you said you were okay with the mistake. I was okay with the program book mistake as long as she corrected her mistake on crowning. She said "well what do you want me to do about it" I told her as a national director who had that system for over 10 years I shouldn't have to tell her, but she should have given the other little girl her awards (after all, it isn't her fault the director made a mistake) and then corrected herself on stage and crowned my child too ( I have seen this a illion times at pageant) She said she didn't have enough awards. I told her that wasn't my childs fault. My child was standing in the hall crying telling her daddy that they gave her crown, that she earned, to "that little girl" pointing to the child on the back cover). The director apologized and told me to tell my child that she would mail her awards. I told her and she felt better. Weeks went by and nothing. I emailed the director and asked her about it and she told me my child would get nothing and the "case was closed". This has nothing to do with score sheets. I had the program books for evidence. I don't go to boards with this stuff, but I did this time and signed my name to every post. I found out I could have them arrested for theft by deception (they had $1700 of my advertising money and my child got nothing they promised) and their paperwork incriminating them. next thing I know their message board and site it gone. So please to all, don't give those crooks any more of your money. And I will once again sign my name to this post. Angel
