In reply to: 's message, "I need to know about a photographer. My daughter needs some photogenic pictures taken and I need to know who to use. Some of the prices are outrageous, so does anyone know a photographer who does not charge an arm and a leg?" on 06:43:55 06/03/04 Thu

We use Eric Skarl. His studio is in Cleveland. He also shoots at most of the Couto pageants - Miss U.S. of America, Yankee Miss, Miss Royal America and the NH and ME National Pre-teen Petite and Pre-teen pageants).

Eric is darn right inexpensive compared to the majority of big names out there. You need to either do your own H/M or make H/M plans yourself. You can see samples of his work at www.finesartsphotography.com

My daughter's photos (she's 8)have held their own in a variety of systems. Most recently she won portfolio at ECUSA in her division. She has also done well at many of the Couto Pageants. Another girl (she's a pre-teen) their won print model of the year with some of his photos. A girl that competes with my daughter (this one is 7) won photogenic, composite and portfolio at our Sunburst Tri-state. (I don't yet know how she did with her pictures at internationals last week.)
