I competed in Rita's pageant both as someone young (7-11ish I think), and also in the upper teen division. I LOVED her pageants, even though they are quite expensive. And yes, generally, the same children win. Why? They go to EVERY pageant of hers and gain experience! However, after not competeing in any pageant for 7 years, I came back and won a prelim and did well at regionals and nationals and decided to go back to one more regional. I had a blast, and I never saw one child complain, even though they were long hard days! The people complaining were the parents of the children who couldn't win! However, the kids loved it!
The pageants are expensive, but if you daughter LOVES to compete, expect hard competition and come prepared. If you have a great talent and great modeling ability you will win. But, it does take practice!
