Starlet is a very good pageant. We have been going since my daughter was a mini miss. It has awesome competition and the best parties. The final night show is fabulous. You dont have to sign any contracts if you should win your title and will be treated awesome as royalty.Its a glitzy system but not high southern glitz. Give it a try we love it. - You will not win there unless you are up the directors behind. She is very rude and treats the children like cattle. It definately is NOT a beauty pageant for they do not look at facial beauty at all. If you are a "pageant kid" stay away as well. They cater to quantity, not quality. I went to watch before entering my dd and there is NO WAY I would do that to my girl. Save your money and go to a real pageant that has sweet directors and don't treat the kids like a number.
