Botched Makeup Job

I need a bit of advice from everyone. I recently competed in a pageant and had a H&M artist to do my hair and makeup. Needless to say that when I got my pictures back from this pageant along with my scores my face was literally ghost white, and I am dark complected to begin with. Not only that the judges sheet stated that each of the four judges had taken 3-4 points per event for poor facial beauty alone because of this makeup job. I called this H&M artist for weeks before he contacted me back and finally said that he would take off $50.00 of the original $300 I paid him the next time he done me. I wouldn't let him touch me again. I will do my own hair and makeup. I just needed opinion on what to do. He is well known and I don't want that to happen to anyone else. If anyone is interested in seeing pictures email me at starpageant13@yahoo.com and I will send you pictures of what he has done to my face compared to another of my pageant pictures. Shouldn't he own me more then that. He ruined my chances of winning a title. I entrusted him to make me look good and instead I looked like a zombie. No one else looked that way that he did. Just let me know your opinions.

FYI There us some make eg-MAC studio fix which has an ingrediant in it that makes you appear ghost white in photos...I wear it all the time and half my pictures I look white, it has something to do with the flash and how it reflects with the make-up...most heavy make-ups have it...so it might not be the make-up artist's fault (NT) -- No name, 07:51:46 01/14/05 Fri (ip24-251-126-94.ph.ph.cox.net/24.251.126.94)
