I have really had it! I spent $750 for a new routine for my daughter just to find out that another mother heard about the music we were using and the coreographer we hired and is copying my daughter's exact number! First, I can't believe the coreographer is doing a number to the same music! But shouldn't there be a morality among pageant moms that we won't steal ideas and numbers from each other? Click in
Not that I know of. But there is a pageant dirctor who is an attorney. Are you interested? (NT) -- No name, 06:23:47 08/30/04 Mon (cache-dtc-ad02.proxy.aol.com/205.188.116.196)
Actually the "joke" is on your poor kid!!! Too bad I don't have any legal advice for you. I don't think you can actually "copywrite" a routine, and even that would be up to the coach. Your problem is with the coach, there is no way that he/she should have been a party to this. Maybe you can sue him/her. So do something about it! First, who is this mom? Second, go after her legally. You paid for the routine and it belongs to you! Did she pay for it? No! Hire an attorney and get what is due to you! (NT) -- No name, 11:30:35 09/02/04 Thu (NoHost/63.164.145.198)
Any suggestions? This is really sad! (NT) -- No name, 15:36:22 09/07/04 Tue (NoHost/63.164.145.198)
