Of course, when they see this, they will know who wrote this. And, I care... NOT! When you read their paperwork, they very politically correctly slam glitz pageants for their clothing and such. So they have the look down their nose thing, for such a value-lead bunch, how hypocritical. Them they charge ridiculous amounts for entry and give crappy awards, in the realm of awards. I mean seriously, look at what other pageants give for the same amount of money. If you want a real appearance banner, to promote them, no less, you have to BUY one from them. What kind of crap is that?! And does it get worse... you bet it does... What happens when you cannot make the pageant? Or worse, say Hurricane Ivan hits the FL, AL, MS, and LA Gulf Coasts. And there happens to be a prelim that next weekend. And you were trusting enough to have paid the $55. (and paypal fees) beforehand because your dd wants to go do the pageant because she so loved her director in another state. But because the co-director of the pageant lived in the area hit hard by the hurricane was affected, the pageant was cancelled. Understandably so. But then it is decided that the pageant will be rescheduled, but no one (as far as I am aware) is brought in on whether or not that date might work for them. As it turned out, that date did NOT work out for me due to being on stand by to possibly assist hurricane victims in another state. Paperwork DID NOT state that refunds would be given. I requested a refund. THREE MONTHS AND SEVERAL E-MAILS LATER (in that 3rd month) I was told that I could not have MY money back. Because it is The World Youth Federation's policy to NOT give refunds. My first several e-mails regarding my request for refunds were totally ignored. For three months.
These are caring individuals? I think not. I am certain I am not the first person to request a refund. I could certainly use the money and told them so. And I told them everything I just told you here.
