I definitely watched, buddy. I disagree about the mermaid style dresses, i like the silhouette, in fact my wedding dress is mermaid shape :)) But not nearly as severe of a shape as some of those dresses, it's still extremely easy to move in and not as constricting as those dresses looked. Still, i can't help but love the silhouette, it is so flattering, especially on women that have a bit of a shape. But even skinny women like AJ would look great in it, in fact if she wore something like that, it would give her more of a beautiful line and not make her look so sickly. I thought both Reese and Sophia Vergara looked stunning in their mermaid dresses. Salma Hayek is always beautiful and i thought Charlize Theron looked stellar though i can't make up my mind about the big bow on the dress, i get that its cutting edge or what not but i can't save i was in love with it, still she pulled off that look so well and she has such a knockout body that anything looks amazing on her.
As for Jolie, well, i do like the dress, its better than the big black sacks she sometimes wears, at first i was kind of turned off by the weird combo of ice white and blood red, gave me some weird associations with that time of the month LOL But it grew on me, just the design of it, it was pretty unique and mark my words, everyone is going to go gaga for it and now white with red is going to be the new trend. I also liked her hair off her face for a change.

Brad looked awesome, as always. I agree with Sue, there's no one that holds a candle to him, not even Bradley Cooper
And my fave part of the show was when George came out to present, carrying Brad's cane. That was classic. I knew he wouldn't pass up an opportunity to poke fun at his buddy. I thought it was sweet how the two of them presented each other's movies. Now there's a bromance to last a lifetime! :)
Here, People have a recap of that whole episode

I saw the Girl W/Dragon Tattoo, i thought it was a very well made film. I agree it is disturbing, but hello, so was Se7en and so was Fight Club. David Fincher is no stranger to that type of genre so why is this movie any more disturbing that Se7en was when it first came out? Ok, there was a rape scene in this and etc but honestly, there are tons of movies that come out that have elements of that. Any of them can give strange men ideas, as you put it, Gina. I don't think Fincher did anything he should be ashamed of here, he makes movies that push the envelope and thats what makes him a fascinating director in my eyes. I also thought Rooney Mara was amazing in that movie, what a transformation. She was a little sweet college girl in Fincher's previous Social Network and look at her now. The girl commits to a character, thats for sure.

So those are my 2 cents so far....
