Oh no, buddy, i'm so very sorry for your loss! At least when it's an illness, you're sort of prepared, when it's something that's unexpected like that, it really leaves one at a loss for words :( You and your family are in my thoughts!
My fiancé lost 2 uncles last year, both within less than a month of each other, one did have a long illness but the other one also died rather unexpectedly. And then this past Christmas (literally Christmas Day), he lost his cousin to a drug overdose, his cousin was only 32 and left behind a 3 years old daughter. It was really tough on the family. So all i can say is that my heart goes out to his 5 girls and to all of you, how tragic.
You should honor him in some sort of a special way at Rachel's wedding in Sept, i know it's still too raw, but once some time will pass, definitely run it by her and think of something, it will bring poignancy and be very touching, I'm sure as close as she was to her uncle, Rachel will be all for it. We plan on putting the names of the special people we lost this past year onto our wedding programs and stuff....
