Subject: Brad at Oscars

Brad looked wonderful at the Oscars. The shoulder-long blonde hair was perfect. Who can believe that he is 48? He looks not older than 35. What a beauty.
I have to admit that he and Angelina make such a beautiful glamouros couple. And you can see how much she loves him. I had my doubts when they got together that this relationship would last. Brad, the normal, down to earth country boy. And Angie, the wild Hollywood-girl with a turbulent past. But they proved us wrong. Since she is together with Brad she has become such an elegant lady. I think Brad has such a positive influence on her.
I really like them as a couple. And have you seen how she looked at him when Natalie Portman delivered her speech to Brad? She only looked at him and you could see how proud she was of him and how much in love she is with him. That's the way it should be.

I also loved that Brad also took his parents with him to the awards show. He has expressed publicly how important his parents are for him and it was so lovely when he said that he took his parents with him because they are the reason for him also being part of this business, that it was their support that made it possible for him to be a part of it. That was such a sweet statement.

I noticed that Brad's dad is always very diffident when in the public eye. His mum is just so gorgeous. Always smiling and happy. She certainly is very proud of her son.
I'm sure Brad's father is too.

Angie's black dress was pretty conservative but the slit made it the ultimate eye-catcher. The way she presented that Oscar was something to talk about. She knows how to make an entrance and to leave a mark. That's for sure. But that is something that you probably should expect from a star of her calibre.

I would have loved to see Brad winning an Oscar, of course. In an interview he said that winning an award is not the most important thing in his life. His private and family life has priority. He is seeking for personal contendedness.
Still, Brad only got terrific reviews for Moneyball and also Tree of Life. He has matured as an actor and as one reviewer said, he now is in the same category with the best of the best - actingwise.
I think the best Brad is yet to come.
Both of Brad's last two movies where Oscar candidates. Both had a total of 9 nominations. Too bad that it didn't result in at least one win.
But this French Silent Movie sweeped the Oscars and other films didn't have a chance.
I loved how happy Brad was for his colleagues when they won. Brad's big smile when Octavia Spencer (never heard of her) won her supporting Oscar was just so generous. Brad's smile can really light up a room. Because it's honest.

I must admit that I am happy that George Clooney did NOT win. I used to like him but his ego has become so big over the years that it has become almost unbearable. Maybe it was the biggest luck for the sake of his personality that he did not win. He is too hollywood-esque today, more a fake than a real person.

I am so happy that Meryl Streep finally won her third Oscar. Her last win was 30 years ago and it was simply time for another Academy award. She is such a terrific, outstanding actress and Colin Firth was right when he said that she raises the bar and makes it more difficult for her colleagues to reach her level.
Loved her acceptance speech.
I would love to see Brad one day in a movie with Meryl the Great.

I liked Natalie Portman when she addressed Brad in her speech. Reminded me that they have a common movie-project in the pipeline. I think they would look phenomenal together. Hope this film becomes reality soon. I heard they are just writing the script. The story sounds so interesting too. The world of arts, photography, jewellery, books and fashion.

I vote Brad the most handsome actor in the audience and with looking that good Brad could easily win the title Sexiest man alive again. He certainly has my vote.

Brad rocks!!!
