Well, in regards to the discussion going on at FF, i am sure you will not be surprised to discover i agree wholeheartedly with the following:

"To those defending the action, I would ask if they would agree it was appropriate for someone to approach them at work and try to force literature on them advocating gay sex in order to understand the LGBT issue fully. Really, it is the forcing of someone else's private beliefs and practices on another in the workplace -- somewhere you have to be, that you can't opt out of. I agree that this guy should have been fired."

Any one of us, evangelizing at work, would get canned in a heartbeat. that's how the real world works. That's why people do it on the subways here in NY, because that's the only "suitable" place they can freely do it without consequences. That and church, obviously, but no one needs to be converted there :)
At least the guy admits Brad didn't yell at him or curse him out but was polite about it, kudos to Brad. And at least they took a full week to investigate the issue, that's already a good thing. But i see the dude has no qualms milking it for all it is worth on religious programming. I am sure him being "blacklisted" from Hollywood isn't going to hurt him one bit, he'll do just fine making a name for himself, probably in a circle of like-minded people...

See, this is the difference between religious people and atheists: atheists dont go around in workplaces and such professional settings pushing their personal beliefs onto people, that is and always will be the thing that is freeing. It almost feels like its the religious folk that is THREATENED by the non-believers, why else would they so fervently push their beliefs onto others? Brad isn't threatened by Christianity one bit, Gina, he just lives his life and lets others live theirs. That's all there is to it.
Sorry, you already know my stance on it so as i said, i'm sure none of this is new to you.
But thanks for sharing the clip and the link....

xo,
Myst
