Wow, good memory, cant believe you remembered that i come back on the 27th :)))
Yes, i'm back, sorry been trying to unpack and catch up on things the last couple of days, i literally forgot what it's like to have my place to myself since i had a friend staying with us for 3 weeks before the wedding and then 2 weeks honeymoon so everything is a bit of a blur :)
Wedding was great, it went exactly how i wanted it to, i really lucked out with all my vendors. Everyone at the venue were amazing, my florist, etc everyone did their job perfectly and made it a really special day for me. And we really lucked out with the weather, it was really crappy weather practically every other day for 2 weeks before the wedding and then on the 12th, it was gorgeous, sunny and 77 degrees, as if on cue :) Still trying to sort through pics but i will email you a few, is the aol email still the best way to reach you. I'll email it to you from my other email, yahoo one, i dont use the aol one anymore, it still exists but i never check it....
Also our officiant was amazing, it wasn't a religious ceremony, as you know but everyone and i mean everyone, was commenting on how profound and amazing the ceremony was, this guy is beyond charismatic & wise and he really spoke from the heart about the values of marriage and what you need to do to achieve harmony in a relationship. But the highlight was when we were saying our vows, we wrote our own vows, when it was my man's turn, he surprised me and everyone by saying a whole long complicated paragraph in Russian. Turns out he has been taking Russian lessons for months so that he can say his vows in my native language. There wasn't a dry eye in the house, let me tell ya, and i was bawling my eyes out too...My photographer, who's a friend of mine, said that she could hardly take pics bec she was also so emotional. It really set the tone for the whole wedding so it was just this sentimental and romantic vibe for the whole thing.
And then of course the honeymoon was great (although 2 weeks is a long time to travel, even for me, you start to get on each others nerves, even when you're newlyweds LOL)
I implore you, buddy, you have to go to Italy. If you're ever going to travel to one place in the whole world, this should be it. You will absolutely love it and so will your hubby. Maybe for your next wedding anniversary? If you go, make sure to go to South of Italy (Amalfi Coast and Capri) Capri is like nothing i've seen before, just stunning beauty, it's an island with cliffs and there are just amazing views of the sea everywhere, its simply gorgeous.
So how have things been around these parts? I saw some pics of Brad in Cannes promoting his gangster movie Killing Them Softly or whatever its called. I was surprised Jolie didnt walk the red carpet with him this year, wonder why.....
