But seriously, I don't think it is necessary to live a monk's or nun's life after a man separates from his wife or vice versa until the divorce is through.

I mean, it wasn't that Brad announced his separation and the following day he was dating AJ.
I remember that time very well. After the announcement of their separation he went into hiding in his house (the one where he always works). I remember the paparazzi pics where they were flying over his house with helicopters and were making photographs. Brad sat there totally alone and looked lost :-(

Then he started his travels, to Africa for instance. After his return about four months later he was seen with AJ publicly in private for the first time.
So what? He said they lost contact after they completed shooting Mr.& Mrs. Smith and they renewed their contact after his return. What then happened we all know.

I hope all of them have overcome this difficult time in a positive way, and apparenty they have. Brad is happy with his new role as a father, JA has a new man in her life.
Often sad things happen in our life and we can do nothing about it, it just happens to us. We never know what life has in store for us. In the end it is only important we come out of it and are stronger than before. That's what I wish for myself and people around me who are important to me, as well as to other people, celebs or not. I don't make a difference.
