Well, at least Brad walks away with the life he always dreamed of giving Jolie this part. That is probably the upside for him.

I feel bad for Mariane more then Brad.I don't think the lack of people seeing the movie had anything to do with her involvement. i think it was more the manner in which they promoted it all around the star of the movie. I think most people are sick of hearing how "perfect" Jolie is in everything she does.*eyeroll*

I might still see the movie for the benefit of Mariane and for Daniel, who for some reason has been haunting me.I feel his spirit with force these last few days and i must say, if what I am getting is right on, he is a fighter and doesn't give up easily. But I get the feeling his first concern from this whole thing is his Mariane and his son.

I have been reading very mixed reviews about this movie. Some say it is excellent others are saying it moves too slow and that it isn't Jolie's best performance.Some have said her accent is worse then in Alexander, and we all know how awful that was. My problem is, I don't want to see or hear Jolie at all. I want to be consumed with the story but I seriously don't know if that is possible the way she has promoted her private life throughout her interviews.

If I do see it, you know one thing is for certain, i will give my honest opinion either way it plays out. Whether she commands the role or not. I don't have any problem saying nice things about Jolie when they are deserved.
