******[Jesse James is next. That will be the true test for Brad to see if all his personal drama with Jolie has effected his public appeal. Brad's movies have always supported themselves haven't they Terry?]******

You must have missed that 3 year period when Brad had five movies in a row that didn't even make it to 50 miilion.

1997: The Devil's Own = $42,868,348
1997: Seven Years in Tibet = $37,957,682
1998: Meet Joe Black = $44,619,100
1999: Fight Club = $37,030,102
2000: Snatch = $30,328,156

Somehow Brad's immune to this, he just keeps truckin'. I guess after 20 years in Hollywood he has a lot of friends in high places.

And i don't think he really cares all that much....

Brad Pitt "not much for career maintenance"

Brad Pitt says he's "not much for career maintenance." Which might explain why some of his choices of film roles have been great successes and others crashing duds.

"I think that's why you look back and see it's very hit or miss with me. My decisions were based on getting into areas I hadn't been in before. On 'Snatch,' it was the energy of Guy Ritchie's story-telling I liked. It was fast-paced, dry humor. On 'The Mexican,' it was just getting away from being the 'cool guy' for a while," he told reporters in New York City recently.
