"Katrina was a man made diaster." It was caused from irresponsible living. Hum...can't say I agree with that, and if it were true, does that mean that Brad takes responsiblity for his own lifestyle contributing to it? He says people think it was nature that caused the devistation but it wasn't, it was man made. Makes me scratch my head in wonder to what the hell he is talking about.
Don't get me wrong, it is sweet that he speaks up for all these people that have lost their homes and everything they owned, but if it was man made, why did it devistate only the people in New Orleans? Why not the people in LA where they live in mansions that consume a lot of energy and where the smog is so thick, you can't hardly breath there. Why was this man made wrath taken out on New Orleans? Maybe he could answer that.
He goes on to say it is about dignity. It is about giving the people in NO their life back. In my opinion he should stay focused on that rather then explaining why it happened as it did, especially with his wealthy lifestyle and his jetting all over the world with his family. Oh that is right, he and Jolie save each place they visit, one at a time. *eyeroll*
What? they are above man made diaster? This is where I have a problem with these celebrities. They like to scream and shout that we cause the wrath, why not just say, "I don't believe in God or a higher power that controls Mother Nature." Oh that is right, he is a celebrity with enough money he really believes he can find a way to control the weather and change the world so we wouldn't have any more devistation. I feel sorry for him if that is what he believes. And, I don't believe he will truly understand it until it effects him and his family directly. Maybe then, he will get it.
Too bad, I thought he could really make a statement with his assitance there but with his words, it tells me he is completely clueless like all the rest. *sigh*
As long as he and Jolie believe that they are the worlds saviors, I doubt all these man made diasters all around the world will get any better. Lets see in 20 years how their combined fame really changes the world and all the man made Wrath that we create. I am sorry, can't help but roll my eyes.Sad as it is, he is like all the rest believing his own hype. Pathetic!!
I was really hoping for a more postive message from him but sadly enough, as usual, I expect too much. JMO
