Brad Pitt understands how the paparazzi game works -- and now he's trying to orchestrate an understanding when it comes to snapping him with his expanding brood.

A cool and respectful Pitt approached paps in New York yesterday as he entered an office building for a script reading, saying, "Man, you guys work hard!" He added that he'd be around the city with his children, and asked a favor of the photogs, saying, "Anything you guys can do long-lens would be much appreciated. You're workin' hard, you guys." Get this guy an embassy appointment!

Brad makes it look easy to be an international superstar with manners.

Shame on the paparazzi. Honestly, when they see the children they should back off. Especially if the child is angered or frightened by it. Brad is asking nicely for them to use a long-lens when the children are present. I wonder, does Brad really think these people care enough to honor his wishes? If they don't have enough character to back off when upsetting a child, I wonder what makes him believe they will back off when he asks nicely because they are upseeting him.

With B&A knowing the paparazzi game, it amazes me that they didn't see this coming. I can't believe they were so in love they didn't care how it would effect their children when combining their fame. But obviously, they must of felt they were strong enough to handle it. If it was just them ok, but, it is hard to watch those innocent children be subjected it.

I hope it works for Brad and they will back off.
I get the feeling these people will need to be reminded more than once over the course of their childrens lives.
