 In the 1990ies Pavarotti gave a charity concert every year for children in need. He always invited popstars to sing with him. Elton John, Sting, Duran Duran, Bryan Adams only to name a few. These concerts were shown on Italian TV which I can see in my country. The concerts always took place in Modena, Italy, Pavarotti's hometown.

Another favourite of mine is where he sings with Mariah Carey one of my favourite songs, Hero, from the concert in 1999:

But he shined the most in opera of course. So I advice to listen to him singing opera.
