Seems Russel Crowe is seriously considering playing Brad's part. Don't know how they did it. Rumours everywhere: They say he might get an even bigger pay-check than Brad would have got. When the script is that bad Crowe certainly wouldn't have jumped on board, so they say Brad simply wanted to get out. They say Crowe is a favourite of the studio Universal since he brought them several hits and much money and so they prefer him over Brad anyway.
I think Universal will throw dirt at him from now on as much as they can.

People say Brad's career has reached its end since he proved to be too risky and unreliable. He also dropped out of The Fountain very late. In another article they mentioned his leaving and coming back to the Mr. & Mrs. Smith project and that he also wanted to get out of Fight Club.
Not to forget the failure of Jesse James. The biggest flop in Brad's career since he is an A-list star. Although here the studio is to blame. They released the film in only about 300 theatres in the USA. Usually they release the bigger films in about 3000! So not many chances to see it.

I mean, has anyone had the chance to see that film?

It is like I expected. They present him as an insecure actor with diva-esque behaviour. Suddenly he is out of work. Everyone expected that he would be the money-raiser in the family while they said that Angelina Jolie will take a year off. The total opposite happens now: Angelina has just completed the film Wanted, and now she is already back in front of the cameras. She just started shooting The Changeling with director Clint Eastwood. So no year off for her apparently. Brad has to stay at home.

Someone said Angie is the bigger star of the two, now she will prove it with two big movies next year and Brad's biggest performance will be to be the accessory on Angie's arm at her premieres.

Well, I don't want to see that......
