If we got our hands on Brad Pitt we’d never let go – but Angelina Jolie is far more relaxed about her hunky Hollywood lover.
In fact, the Tomb Raider star reckons fidelity is overrated and has hinted that far from being “chained together”, if either she or Brad had a bit on the side it wouldn’t be a problem.
In a bizarre interview, Angelina, 34, says: “Neither Brad nor I have ever claimed that living together means to be chained together. We make sure that we never restrict each other.
“I doubt that fidelity is absolutely essential for a relationship.
“It’s worse to leave your partner and talk badly about him afterwards.” Er, riiiight. There have been rumours that the glamorous movie star couple are on rocky ground – and not just because Brad has started sporting a goatee like an old tramp.
Angelina’s latest comments won’t do much to dampen down the fires of speculation. Far from it. In the same interview, she also admits things can get volatile if she doesn’t get her own way.
She says: “The sparks fly at home if the nice Brad fails to see that he’s wrong and reacts in a defiant way. Then I can get so angry that I tear his shirt.”
Hmm, we’d like to rip his shirt off too…
Fortunately, she controls her wild urges for the sake of their children – Maddox, eight, Pax, six, Zahara, four, Shiloh, three, and twins Knox and Vivienne, one.
Angelina adds: “We’re not violent enough for these things, and we consider our six children.” Phew! Apparently one of their most recent rows was over Angelina wanting to adopt a baby from Syria. Brad was allegedly opposed to the idea and put his foot down.
Still, they showed a united front at a recent LA party hosted by George Clooney and Matt Damon.
But, tellingly, while everyone else danced and had fun, they remained at their table.
Which is exactly what Madonna did when she was splitting from Guy. D’oh!

Yeah, there is some roll model for the world. Like I said, I don't care how much money she gives or good deeds she acts out, after-all, she is an actress.
This is belivable when it comes to Jolie because she believes it presents her as a rebel, one that is willing to live on the edge. *eyeroll*
And know what else, I wouldn't give a crap about her besides her addiction to involving children in it.
Aren't Hollywood children screwed up enough? Now we have to observes the likes of Jolie parenting children without any boundries or moral compass. She thinks it makes her cool and so different from all the others.
I will give her one thing, she puts on a damn good show but I am not fooled by any of it. It only saddens me that there are innocent children involved.
They don't do those children any favors with their lack of structure and boundries. Worse yet, this one will NEVER take responsiblity for what she will create. She believes herself too talented to be confronted with it.
She is going to fall long and hard when she discovers the truth. *thud*
