She is in NY doing reshoots for Salt. Beware Mystie!!

Ahh but that's right, HER children LOVE to travel. Adjust to extreme temperature change, adjusting to a new home again, and at Christmas time no less. Well, I guess they don't have a traditional relationship, the children wouldn't have a traditional Christmas. But, I guess if you are an atheist,(even 20%)you don't believe in Christmas anyway. *shrug* Too bad, those children are missing out on so much. I feel sorry for people who don't get what Christmas is about.

It has become too commercialized. Santa was meant to be a man who cared enough to give to someone he didn't know. Making a wish come true. Not a fake icon that is a lie to our children. I heard a co worker describe him as such today and I didn't say anything at the time but I really believe it is ok to build a childs imagination of someone as giving as Santa. It isn't about the fat man with the long white beard, it is about the man who is caring enough to give to all children because of that special light they hold within. She has decided not to introduce her child to Santa. I felt sad when she said it. It is really too bad it has gotten so off course to what Santa was meant to teach children.

One thing is for certain, I would rather that the myth of Santa would become a past time rather than marriage or more importantly, the love that Christmas brings of stopping and taking time to think of others. Even if it is as simple as a prayer for a child who suffers from hunger. I believe it does have an impact on those less fortunate. People always make it about the money that is donated, they don't have it so they feel helpless. I am here to say every little prayer does help. That is what Christmas represents for me. Taking time to think of others, whether we know them or not. I would shout that from the highest mountain.
