Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt March 22 If Brad Pitt finds himself pining for Jennifer Aniston, he might be surprised to find the door to their relationship is still open: Indeed, when British TV show GMTV asked if she believes it’s possible for exes to get back together Jen, 41, didn’t miss a beat.
“Absolutely,” she declared. “Sometimes you meet each other at a time in your lives when you’re not necessarily ready and you’re not fully formed — you don’t sort of have the maturity it takes to be in a relationship.”

Despite the painful 2005 breakup of her four-year marriage to Brad, 46, shortly after the actor met Angelina Jolie, 34, on the set of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Jen admits that giving a past relationship a second chance is all about accepting the past as “not black and white.”
“[Brad] was her only true love; she has always held out hope that they would get back together, and there have even been a few in-person meetings,” a friend of the actress tells OK!.

Most recently, Jen came face to face with Brad backstage at January’s Hope For Haiti Now telethon in L.A. The reunion couldn’t fail to stir up old feelings.
“In her heart, Jen has always felt that Brad’s relationship with Angelina is just a very passionate fling,” explains the pal. “It’s lasted a lot longer than she ever expected, but she still thinks it has an expiration date. That’s why she said, ‘Never say never.’”

Jen recently had been linked with Gerard Butler, her co-star in The Bounty Hunter, but she remains adamant that talk of a real-life affair “has absolutely nothing backing it at all.”

Of course, the actress has had a number of on-the-record relationships, but Jen’s pal is adamant that the actress “has no romantic feelings” left for past boyfriends, including recently divorced actor Tate Donovan, musician John Mayer and newly married Vince Vaughn.
But try as she might, she simply can’t shake her interest in Brad.
“She’s still so close with Brad’s mom, Jane, who keeps Jen up to date on all of Brad and Angie’s highs and lows,” notes the pal.

“She feels like she and Brad made so much more sense together, especially when she sees how much he’s aged since he’s been with Angelina compared to how serene and calm he was when she was married to him.”
And, as Brad’s stressful lifestyle with Angelina and their six children continues to take its toll, Jen’s pal has no doubt that her shocking public admission is a clear message.

How weird is this? Especially that last sentence. I will tell you why. Because not more than a week ago I posted on FF that I don't believe Jen was talking about Brad when she made the statement about taking an ex back, I suggested she was talking about Tate Duoven or whatever his name is. So not more than a week later we get, "Brad was definitely who she was talking about?" *squint* Do you suppose JA reads FF?
I will tell you this if Brad gets back with JA when he is sleeping I will spit in his mouth. *stare* hahaha
