'10Brad Pitt got high & said that he keeps his beard out of “boredom”
This is the weirdest, most random “interview” I’ve ever read with Brad Pitt. It comes via The Sun, of course, and it seems to have taken place when Brad was in England on Monday for the premiere of Kick-Ass. I guess the main headline is that Brad is not growing out that ugly beard for a movie. When asked about it, he tells The Sun’s journalist, “It’s boredom. No other reason than that.” Ugh. Then shave it, dumbass. But the weird part of the interview is where Brad is talking about hanging out in Scotland, and there’s a girl, and there’s danger, and weird stuff happens… I can’t really follow the thread of this story. I think Brad was really high:
I was introduced to Brad, who was having a cheeky lung-burning Marlboro Red cigarette, over a pint of the black stuff. And as supermodel Claudia kept an eye out for any spilled drinks, he told me about his admiration for Dizzee Rascal.
“That guy has got it. The kids are really into his stuff. I have worked out to that song Bonkers.”
He said: “I went to Scotland and travelled around years ago. I went everywhere, saw it all. Edinburgh and Glasgow were special - the architecture is something there.”
“Charles Rennie Mackintosh, he was the man. You talk about sub culture and high culture - you’ve got it all there.”
“I even went up to Loch Ness to see what that was all about. When I was in Glasgow I got involved with this girl. She happened to be the ex-girlfriend of a bit of a bad guy. I ended up having to get out of town because I was getting ‘that’ look from a guy behind a bar.”
“I think there is something about rival gangs in the city and I was about to find I was involved. I had to get out of there. It was heavy.”
“Last year Matthew [Vaughn] and I were looking at doing some filming up there. We had a look at some castles. We’ll definitely be back.”
I made a passing comment that he’d fit in well with his Braveheart beard, and asked what the facial furniture was all about.
He said: “It’s boredom. No other reason than that.”
It was the first time for ages that Brad had been reunited with a lot of his Snatch co-stars.
And when I told him I played a bit of football with VINNIE JONES he joked, “What? That old soccer player? All we need is JASON STATHAM for the full reunion.”

Totally random, right? My first thought was that Brad was high as a kite. My second thought was that this interview was a figment of someone’s imagination. But I will say this - I actually believe Brad is this f-cking random. I think when he gets high, he probably sits around bullsh-ttin’ about architecture, and music, and probably facial hair. Who is this random girl in Scotland? Why check out the castles? What the…? Oh, and Brad smokes Marlboro Reds? Those are some hardcore cigarettes. Take it down a notch, Brad.Top
