My son and my daughter do too for their age. They don't like to be told I have a bit more than them. They will opnly understand that when they are my age and have a 20 year old telling them they have just as much. It's ok, just all a part of living and learning. My daughter would probably kill me for telling you this but she gets mad at me because I won't allow her boyfriend of 4 years to sleep with her when he comes home from college.She thinks it is old fashion and without good reason. I wish I could explain it to her, but I can't. It is one of those things that comes from deep within me and I am not willing to bend on it. I get upset when they don't follow the rules in my home. When she has her own home she can do as she wishes, but in my home, they sleep in separate bedrooms. Period and end of story. I am fortunate, my hubby backs me up completely, even though I don't believe he feels as strongly about it as I do. I know what you will say, you agree with my daughter, right?
