Mystie, here is a reponce from someone at FF. Makes me giggle so much with the surgeon part at the end. Anyway, I wondered your opinion on Brad working with so many high profile architects with no offical schooling.

What f*cking RIGHT does Pitt have to try to use his celebrity as an ACTOR to muscle in on an architectural job in SPAIN? What the hell is wrong with people, that they would even meet with an ACTOR and "his team of architects" to discuss something that he has ABSOLUTELY NO TRAINING TO DO? I mean, WTF?
That's the last time I am going to listen to people yap about how starstruck Americans are, when this kind of nonsense goes on ALL THE TIME with these 2 idiots, all over the world! Why would even the MAYOR of a town in Spain want to meet with some egotistical idiot actor like Pitt? What can he offer them that a Spanish architect can't, besides publicity? What good will the publicity do - I don't read in that article that they are looking for donations to finish the work, so why use Pitt and his "team" if there is nothing to be gained by it? You can argue that he might have helped bring awareness to the situation in NO with his "Make It About Me" fraudation, but the fact is that it wasn't a secret that New Orleans was wiped out by a hurricane 2 years before Pitt got involved, so...
Anyway, he is just looking around for a high-profile chance to play architect, when he could settle down somewhere and actually study architecture, get a degree in architecture, pass the tests to become a licensed architect, then apprentice somewhere to get experience, THEN he can start going around to places like this and offer his services, same as 50,000 other architects are probably doing, ones that are actually making a living as architects, and would LOVE to be involved in something like this. Some great humanitarian, right? He can't even see that his huge ego is going to keep someone more qualified from having the opportunity to get involved in something like this, and these types of projects don't come along every day, either. How f*cking rude to push yourself into a situation for which you are NOT QUALIFIED, just because you are famous for doing something totally unrelated. But what can we expect from these 2 idiots, when they are constantly sticking their noses in things that they shouldn't. Someone with even a rudimentary conscience would not be able to do the things that these 2 idiots do. Let's be glad that Pitt hasn't decided to play "surgeon".
