Cute Mystie, you remind me of Rachel. She has found love as you have. She really enjoyed the movie but in no way did any of it apply to her.

Maybe that is why the movie didn't appeal to me, I couldn't relate to it at all. Unlike SATC which made me laugh so many times because I could relate.

I have been in a platonic relationship with a man for 25 years and I still don't have it all figured out. My bet is men are more clueless than the huge ego's that created this silly movie.

I know women (my age) that do the singles hook up on line. I have to laugh because they aren't honest in their profile. I wonder why waste your time or your money? I know one gal that smokes 2 packs a day and put herself down as a non smoker. I am like, Why? i mean seriously, if you can't be who you are and have to lie abut it, you are correct, you don't have anything to begin with. I just don't get it. Course, one thing is certain for me, if I was single, I wouldn't careless about getting serious with another man as long as I live. *stare* heeheehee If I met someone who appealed to me I would look upon it differently, but to go searching for it, To hell with that!! *smirk*

Worse yet are Rachel's friends who are looking for love. (young people) She has one friend whose boyfriend slit his arm with a knife because she tried to break up with him. Man, I am telling you, scares the crap put of me.I wish more young people weren't in such a hurry and let it happen naturally like you are speaking of. I am thrilled it happened for Rachel and for you Myst.

Hugs
