by a respected member at Female First. Intense! I disagree that Brad will fall so hard, I think he is much to talented to suffer to this extreme. But, I gotta say, some of the other stuff seems head on in my opinion. Jolie is going to take a hard blow with the insane expectation she has built herself and her image up to. She is much more removed from reality compared to Brad.
Here it is...
Here are my predictions, and I don't have to be a psychic:
Brad will not film any new movies this year.
Brad will attend Cannes this year in May, ALONE (Angelina will still be filming The Tourist) bringing his 3 yr old film The Tree of Life co-starring Sean Penn, there.
It will be a critical and box office bomb. It will be his first epic fail at Cannes.
Brad will see a downturn financially speaking. His production company will be on the verge of bankruptcy by the end of the year.
The "Kick Ass" movie he produced will fare ok...but the violence and cussing of the 12 yr old's in the movie will be a huge turnoff to parents. It won't turn a profit for Plan B.
Paramount will do a press release, stating they are parting ways with Plan B Entertainment and wish Brad Pitt well on his endeavors. He will try to go to Sony, only to be turned down.
Moneyball, and The Lost City of Z, will be scrapped.
Brad and Julia Roberts production companies both are involved in Eat Pray Love, it stars Julia Roberts in the lead role. It won't make it's production money back. Julia's movies haven't fared well at the box office.
Salt will Gross some money at the box office, but it won't make its production money back, and critics are going to rip it apart. It will not seen returns like Wanted or Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
The Tourist will start filming in end March of 2010, rumors of an affair between Depp and Jolie, will heat up...each will deny. Vanessa will be seen a lot of time on the set. Brad won't. The powers that be will try to turn this into a PR move, like Mr./Mrs. Smith but it will backfire. There will be no affair
Depp will not have anything good to say about his co-star, because he will know she is behind the "affair" rumors which will cause a huge back and forth private feud between the Depps and Angelina Jolie.
Police will be called to the Pitt household, THIS time, someone will be arrested for domestic abuse. Alcohol and drugs will play a factor. (End of May/early June)
There will be an investigation done by Child Protective Services...it will end up being inconclusive because....
The Jolie-Pitt will take off with their brood and go to Europe, to escape the media feeding frenzy over it.
Brad will be putting various properties of his on the market for sale, in the USA.
By July/August Brad and Angelina are going to be spending a lot of time apart.
Brad will have a health scare, due to financial stress, drugs and alcohol, by September.
The elder Pitts, along with Brad's siblings Doug and Julie are going to host an intervention.
By December 2010, it will be more or less common knowledge that Angelina and Brad are no longer a couple. Each will be photographed with someone else. Brad will file for joint custody of ALL of the kids, but will only be granted joint custody of Shiloh, Viv and Knox, and visitation rights for Maddox, Zahara and Pax. Angelina will make things difficult for him to see them. This battle in court will go on for years to come.
After 2010, Jolie will be lucky to get a bit part in some B-movie. Pitt will see to that.
Something will happen on one of her UN trips. Where she puts herself and one of her children in harms way, and there will be a severe public backlash against her.
She will try to adopt as a single woman again, only to be turned down.
A new book deal will be announced, by someone very close to the Jolie-Pitt family. Not their ex-bodyguard Mickey, either. It will be seen as an act of betrayal.. It will be catalystic for a woman, who after so many years, tried to change her public "image" from wild child, to saintly mother, only to have it found out it is only a facade. Her lover Brad Pitt won't be fairing so well in the book either.
