Brad and Angelina turn out at Directors Guild awards

Jolie-Pitt among the industry's elite---Brad's speech is very warm and funny! Glad all these craziness in the tabs didn't affect them any bit!

The event was also notable for the appearance of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, the first time the couple have been seen in public together for some time.
Brad Pitt paid tribute to Quentin Tarantino in the audience, who directed him in "Inglorious Basterds".

I guess that will put a stop to the split rumors.

It was hilarious to me, my hubby and I went to the grocery store Saturday night and there they were all over the checkout. My hubby usually doesn't acknowledge Brangelina and tabloids but he was forced to because he bumped the tabloid rack and several of the papers scattered all over the floor. I had to rib him a bit and tell him "Oprah is calling out to him." (she was on the cover of the one he made a mess with.) As he stepped over them, (no, he wasn't about to pick them up) he noticed that Brad is going back to his wife. He sighed with such sarcasm that it "wasn't surprising he didn't find happiness with dark girl" much less how it has pulled out the dark side of Brad's appearance.I had to laugh at the fact that Brad's ex wife would forever be forced to deal with his questionable choice of being taken in by "dark girl" the rest of her life. I laughed and told him, "Oh yeah, that is every womans dream come true." *eyeroll* He looked so concerned saying, "It's a tragedy in the making." I got the feeling he was poking fun of it like a soap opera of the entertainment world. *chucklin*

The headlines next time we go, (about a month from now, I hate to grocery shop)will be that they Brangelina is getting married. I can't wait to hear his sarcasm about that.He makes it so much more entertaining for me when he comments.
