What a riot Mystie. I think everything is major over priced over the Valentines weekend. I know all the business's around me are having huge celebrations. I did run a Valentines special at the salon and had several men stop in today and buy their sweethearts gift certificates for the special day.Problem is, they all wanted to get them in tomorrow for an appointment. I only have two hands but I am working major overtime tomorrow to pull it off. I hope I feel better, I haven't felt good all day today. I am having major pain in my side.

I am with you, I think it is sweet when they do nice things at off times. After being married for 25 years, let me tell you, Valentines Day is NO big deal. Matter of fact, I will be pissed if he wastes any money on anything. I want a new couch.

You sound secure with your guy, it is good you don't put expectations onto him to spend a lot on you. So many do this time of year.

I did pick up a little hand puppet stuffed animal for my hubby. It sings "Close to You" and my dogs are a riot when I make it sing. They really don't like it as they get a full grin going and bark loudly. It was cute but my hubby didn't appreciate it much because he really doesn't like it when all the dogs bark at once. They can be really noisy. But, it was fun playing with it with them.It was so worth the 5 dollars I paid for it. LOL

Anyway, buy some chocolate syrup and pour it on your body and tell him you are a chocolate covered cherry. *wink*
