Maybe it is just me but PROFESSIONALLY he seems to be very confident of his abilities lately. I think like Babel and crittical acclaim for his role here made him believe that he may win the Oscar one day, that people are ready to see through his looks which are fading a little ( still hot though!!!!!) Babel increased his self confidence and from then he is perfect . jesse, benjamin, even burn after reading guy - for all roles he received some acting nominations including the highest one.

Brad is in a great place in his self perception as an actor, he seems to be more in contact with his talents than earlier.

I wasn't sure before but now I think he will win the Oscar finally. He is great actor, great artist.
