I agree, he seems to be taking on more challengling characters although his new direction is rather boring to me. I haven't been as entertained by his direction since hooking up with Jolie. But,if he is doing it to win the Oscar, I am sure he will get one someday.
I was speaking more of walking the red carpet on his own to gain attention for his movies. He has always had to have a Hollywood female on his arm to gain attention for his movies. The hype is always surrounded by his personal life his whole career. That is where I believe he could improve on his belief in himself. Although, they say, he wants his women there with him so maybe he just has to have someone on his arm for security reasons. Maybe it makes him more secure in his manhood.
His looks are fading and that is probably a good thing for him. Finally he can be respected for his talent rather than his appearance.
Nikita, they are now saying that Jolie is in Cannes and will be with Brad at the premiere. This movie isn't getting any attention, I haven't heard anyone mention it. So maybe with the Hollywood golden couple arm in arm, it will do better at the box office.
I guess JA had a movie open this past weekend and I never heard a peep about that one either.
Another movie that is getting lots of negative chatter is Angels and demons. I don't know anything about it but it does surprise me tom Hanks would be a part of it. I always thought he was a good guy.I guess "good' is out of reach for the entertainment industry. Probably why they have the focus of the media. The bad is always more intriguing. I suppose if the media is most powerful to them, they will have a rude awakening at the end. Unless they find a scientific way to live forever. Science should get to work on that right away. Makes me chuckle, they can create life and call it a miracle but can't find a way to avoid death. To their surprise, that is when it all will become clear. A tad bit too late, but, lucky for them, we have a forgiving God. If they feel like they are royality in this life, they should enjoy it because they won't be in any such company beyond that. Makes me chuckle, but, so derserving. It is disappointing to know Tom Hanks would sink so low to offend people with a specific belief. He was like the last of the good guys in Hollywood. Such a major disappointment he turned out to be.*shakes head* Like I said, it is just out of their reach.
