Ann Gets Handsy With Brad Pitt on 'Today'

Veteran reporter Ann Curry has anchored NBC's 'Dateline' and 'Nightly News,' but her professionalism is no match for the magnetic power of Brad Pitt. In a 'Today' show interview, Curry could barely keep her hands to herself, going so far as to grab the actor's chin.

The two spoke at the Cannes Film Festival where Pitt is promoting his latest film, 'Inglourious Basterds,' in a segment that aired during Wednesday's 'Today' show. Curry took a momentary break from pawing the star to discuss how lucky she is to stand in such close proximity to his internationally appreciated hotness.
"Women who watch the 'Today' show are really envious of me right now because I get to stand here in Cannes talking to you," Curry told Pitt, and asked how he would respond to his female fans.

A visibly uncomfortable Pitt stammered, "I really, really, really... that... thank you and that... really... and let's... let's... let's move on."
Awkward moment aside, Pitt tells Curry that he's at "one of the most on-track" points of his life, and says, "It's really rewarding, about discovery and finding new things, new things of interest," says Pitt. "The kids are certainly responsible for a lot of that

She is taking a beating as being unprofessional for touching Brad like that. Funny, I didn't give it a second thought. It was like she was smitten with him for a moment. I don't know, maybe it is unprofessional but who cares?

Isn't it also unprofessional to fall in love with your married co-star, allow your children to call him "daddy" before he is divorced, and go on to conceive his child before his final papers had been signed. Actually, that part doesn't bother me as much as allowing her child to call a married man "daddy. That to me is the most questionable of actions for any single woman with children.

I did a single moms hair a couple of weeks back that had met a new guy on the internet. He wanted her to go to a salon and have her hair done so he paid for her to do that while he took her 2 year old daughter to eat at Wendy's. She told me if her cell phone rings, she has to answer it because this is the first time her daughter had been alone with him. I asked her, how long had she known this guy? She answered, "Two months!" (including talking on line.) It blew my mind and it scares me for the child that a mom could be so blind to allow such a thing. It is no different of a woman allowing a married man to call her child "dad" while he is still married. I wouldn't walk away with a very good impression, just like this gals hair that I did, I wondered, did she miss standing in the "common sense" line. Bewilders me as a mom. maybe people label it as old fashion, and if that is what they want to call it, so be it...
