So, i dont know about ya'll but i really enjoyed the GG's. I had a watching party at my place so 3 of my good friends came over, we had tons of food and wine and just an awesome time :)

I was sad to see CCofBB not win anything, it seems to be the year of Slumdog Millionaire, that's for sure. Really want to go see that movie to see what all the fuss is about. Seems pretty certain i lost my $50 bet though to my man though, oh well. At least Mickey Rourke one, that was pretty great. His speech, where he thanked his dogs because they were with him when he was all alone, nearly moved me to tears. There's no one more deserving of the praise and attention than him right now, just goes to show you can be down and out on your luck, and it's never too late. Hope other actors take notice...

Our "Golden Couple" looked quite nice. Thank God Brad grew a goatee to go with that "porn mustache" of his heehee The babe always looks great in a tux though, can't go wrong. And is it just me or is Jolie's dress slightly reminiscent of that similarly cut shimmery dress that Gwyneth wore when she attended the Oscars with Brad in 96, she also had long flowing hair with her dress, if i remember correctly. I dont know, maybe i am starting to look at time being backwards in light of Brad's movie or something LOL But something about their look reminded me of it.

I thought there were tons of better dressed ladies than her though specifically Eva Longoria and Kate Beckinsale, i thought the two of them looked out of this world. Also J. Lo, our jaws dropped when we saw her in that liquid gold number...but it's almost like she has something to prove, like "Look, at me, i am J.Lo and i am back" Please, tone it down a tad, sweetheart. I can't deny she looked stunning though.
Everyone else kind of dropped the ball with what they had on though. Kate Winslet's dress was sort of boring, everyone made such a big deal about it but to me it was a big yawn, she could've worn something way more inventive on the night she became the first ever actress to win both Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress...how crazy would it be if she wins 2 Oscars?
As for fashion, seriously, only 3 or 4 ppl were memorable, everyone else's outfit was memorable for all the wrong reasons, if you ask me. Like Renee Zellweger, holy cow, that was frightful. And Marisa Tomei usually dresses so well, had on what looked like some crazy white peasant blouse with a black skirt. Definitely more worst dressed than best dressed this year.

Anyway, so that's pretty much all my thoughts and i
ll leave you with some more pics of our darlin' couple

One more thing, first thing i see online this morning is the "Diss Heard around the World", apparently Brad and AJ failed to acknowledge Ryan Seacrest, oh the horrors :)
see the scoop below:

I honestly don't know whose side i am on, truly. On the one hand, i do feel bad for poor Seacrest, he was just trying to do his job, and Brangelina needs to get back down to earth every so often and stop acting like they are so self-important. Even freaking Tom Cruise had the good grace to talk to this dude and be a nice guy about it.
But on the other hand.... it's Ryan Seacrest, for God's sake! He is beyond annoying. I'd ignore him too if i saw him make a beeline for me...and this is not even a hypothetically speaking of what i would do if i was a celebrity LOL
