Well, buddy, i guess i do qualify in the "young love" category then because i can't say that i dont occasionally sneak a peck in public with my bf. But i would never even dream of making out with him in public, even when i was younger i didnt do that.You'd see those type of couples a lot around the streets of NY (in the warmer months, i guess, not now with the temperatures dipping below zero LOL), you'd see these couples sucking face, just non-stop. That's just plain gross, i mean get a room. It's one thing to quickly peck each other on the lips and such, it's another thing to be doing a deep cavity search for each other's tonsils LOL
So funny that you say this about the young people though because boy, do i have a story for you! When i was visiting my parents over Thanksgiving, that Saturday night the 4 of us (my mom, dad, my bf and I) went to this small but popular jazz club to listen to some live music. We had a cozy booth in the back and right in front of us was this large group of ppl, including this one couple. The dude must've been well into his 60s and the gal in her early 50's (we later overheard them talking to someone and found out they were slightly younger than that, they just didnt look it, the guy literally looked like he forgot his dentures at home, i am not kidding!! haha) So these two could not detach themselves from each other's faces for the entire night. My dad dubbed him "The Vaccuum"! It was a great source of amusement for all of us, especially me and my mom, we could not stop laughing all night. Just as we thought they were finally done, we'd look over and they were at it again. Me and my mom would look at them, look at each other and start laughing hysterically. I think i literally had tears running down my face by the end of the night from laughing so hard :)
Point of this story, as ridiculous as it is for that poor clueless pair, just goes to show you that kissing in public isn't just for the youngsters anymore *giggle*
