Yep, i hear you, it irritated me as well.

Valentine's Day i was working most of the day :( (i know, on a Sat!!) It's Sun and i'm at work right now as well, we have a really big deadline on Wed. After that, i could really use some relaxation, maybe i'll go get a massage or something :)
But anyway, after work yesterday, me and my guy went out to this small, really good Italian place by our apt and had a nice dinner. Nothing too exciting but the food was amazing. It was nice to enjoy a quiet dinner out between all this work, the last week and a half have been absolutely insane....
He got me a bouquet of long stemmed roses and, get this, this is what's going to make you glad you don't like in New York, he ended up shelling out 90 bucks! For a dozen red roses with some baby's breath!! Not even 2 dozen, one stinking dozen! To say that he got ripped off is an understatement, apparently he thought the guy said 19, not 90 (the guy had a thick foreign accent) and he then spent 10 mins wrapping them so my shmuck of a bf was too embarrassed at that point not to buy them... too crazy, i tell ya. But you know what got me angrier, that flower shop should be f-ing reported to the media for charging those kind of prices, so people stop going there and their business declines. I know it's Valentine's Day and all but are you kidding me with this?! Of course, my bf just HAD to go and tell me this right away and get me upset, i mean, i really did not need to know so i can at least enjoy the damn things for a bit LOL (they were very beatutiful roses but not worth 100 dollars, i am sorry)

Nothing like a little drama on V-Day hehe
