Oh I know Mystie, the florist seem to really up their prices on this day. They figure they can make more since most people want to do roses. My florist was charging 60 dollars a dozen. She said business was way down this year. It was sweet though, I got a beautiful bouquet of flowers from them on Friday. I had ordered carnations corsages for my weekly clients. So many of them are widowed and I wanted to make sure to acknowledge Valentines Day for them.

I also got a flower from Rachels boyfriend, I thought that was really sweet. He is really such a great guy and so thoughtful to think of me.

We didn't do anything. I would be like you, pissed if he spent any money on flowers, although if they told him 90 dollars for a dozen roses my hubby would of walked, embarrassed or not and told him to learn to speak english. I have two reclining chairs I want at our local furniture store, if he bought anything, I would of wanted those.

I bought him a 5 dollar flashlight. It is really small but has twice the light of a regular flashlight so it was a new toy for him. Other than that I had a dream in the wee hours on Saturday morning that he was having an affair so I gave him a sock in the head when I woke up from it. "Yeah, Happy Valentines day honey!!" heehee

Don't be too hard on your man Mystie, he will learn with time, it is YOUR job to teach him. We all go through it buddy.

Hugs!!
