Seriously, I have no idea what Proposition 8 is and honestly, I could careless. It doesn't effect MY life in the least. And, I can't stand for something that isn't important to me in the least. It's not my fight.

I have more important issues to fight for that do effect my life directly. The only issue that I will stand for that doesn't involve me directly is my Pro Life stance. I believe the unborn child deserves to have someone speak up for them as they can't speak for themselves. If mom won't listen, it isn't my problem, as long as I take a stand and pray for that child, I have done all I can do.

He has brought it into the light alright. My bet is it pulls out all the anti's as well. I am all for peace in this world, these celebrities seem to enjoy keeping issues all stirred up. I mean seriously, does he really believe his words are going to make a difference in his statement to people who oppose it? They stand because it is a fight they believe is worth fighting. Who can choose for another which fights are important and which aren't? Certainly not a celebrity. Obviously someone major is opposing the ruling of allowing gay marriage if they are thinking of reversing it. It is worth the fight for someone.

For me, if it brings peace for a homosexual couple, I think they should get married no matter if the law acknowledges it or not. If the marriage is only surrounded by the benefits they will recieve, I don't believe that is the right reason to get married in the first place. If it is about "love" the laws don't have any say about that. Make the marriage ceremony whatever you want it to be.Shouldn't matter if the law acknowledges it if it is for the right reason. That is my take on it, but, like I said, it isn't MY fight at all.

So great, Brad has raised awareness. So how many celebrities have matched Brad's donation? Is there a press release about it somewhere?
