But I think it is wrong that we let the media create our opinions. That is why we shouldn't take everything for granted what they write. And that is why we often have an image of famous people that doesn't correspond with who they really are.

But you are right, now that I think of it and we speak about it, I realize that some celebs have spoken what they give. Leonardo DiCaprio spoke about money he donated for something, Celine Dion did and now that you mention George Clooney, he also did when he spoke about Darfur.

So I guess, you are right, more people talk about it than I was aware of. But still, I don't think its bad and good to know. Because there are people who could afford it and do nothing.

But I am surprised that celebrities win awards for it. They give awards for anything these days. But only for celebs? How often do they give awards to unknowns? Very rarely in comparison.
