He did say something about State of Play to the effects that the studio tried to push him into playing the part with the script as it was and he didn't like the final result. Or, that is what I got from it. Kinda sorta sounded like they were pushing to accept a script that he didn't feel comfortable with so he dropped out.

And OMG Terry, seriously, Ed Norton in American History X was amazing. I mean, I hated the start of the movie and the racial slurs but the movie made a sorta positive turn in the middle although the ending was heartbreaking. But Norton captivated me with his performance in that movie. He is one that can speak with his eyes without a word spoken. Intense for sure!!

You know, I don't know anything about Russell Crowe, but he sure seems to have a strong fanbase.

Funny the name of that movie, "Tree of Life" makes me think of my grandmother. I remember clearly when she was in the nursing home, a worker came in to question her and see if she was still of sound mind. It was funny to me because my grandma was of strong sound mind until she took her final breath. She told the gal a story about a tree and how life revolves around the life of a tree. I sat there in amazement as I had never heard her tell that story before. Her words on that day stayed with me from that moment on so I knew it was meant to be that I heard her tell it. I have no idea what this movie is about, but the title made me think of that day in the nursing home with my grandma. *touching my heart* Fond memories.

No Terry, I haven't picked up Elvis's Christmas cd. I will, I just avoid the stores this time of year. I had my shopping done the week before Thanksgiving. I spent a day out at the mall and got it knocked off so I didn't get in the holiday rush mess.

The gals that work with me at the salon bought me the Josh Grobin Christmas cd. I love it. Check it out, he is amazing too. Thanks for the link to the Elvis songs, I will for sure check it out.

Have a Merry Christmas!!
