Reports that actress Angelina Jolie has given birth to twins girls named Isla Marcheline and Amelie Jane Jolie-Pitt have surfaced in the US today.
Entertainment Tonight claims that Jolie went into labour on Sunday in France where she has been living with partner Brad Pitt, 44,
Her doctor is said to have flown in for the delivery at a Catholic medical clinic in the Aix-En-Provence region.
An insider told ET: "Babies are great and so is mom."
New arrivals: Angelina and Brad, are said to have welcomed two baby girls in France on Sunday
However a rep for Jolie has denied the reports, saying: "Angelina has not given birth. She is fine, enjoying her home and her family in France."
Jolie previously issued a press release saying the babies' due date was August 19 earlier this month.
And the couple's schedule is said to be jam-packed in the next few weeks which could rule out an expected birth.
The Jolie-Pitt's have several engagements planned over the summer and are attending the wedding of British actor Jason Fleming in Italy.
The twins would be Angelina and Brad's 5th and 6th children after Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2,
The Oscar-winner said earlier this month that she was considering giving birth in France.
"I actually haven't completely decided, but we are certainly thinking of France," Jolie said.
"It's a second language in our house. I'm still learning so I'm not going to attempt it here today, my rusty French.
"But our children are starting to speak French, so being here is very good for them for their language."
Jolie's mother, who was of French descent, died in Los Angeles in January 27 after a long battle with ovarian cancer.

and from Just Jared, her Vanity Fair interveiw.
Angelina Jolie looks lip-smackingly good on the the July 2008 cover issue of Vanity Fair, out next week. Here’s a preview... (My comments, the picture looks weird. Like it is air brushed, so much so, her mouth looks completely different.)
On being pregnant with twins: “I love it. It makes me feel like a woman. It makes me feel that all the things about my body are suddenly there for a reason. It makes you feel round and supple, and to have a little life inside you is amazing. Also, I’m fortunate. I think some women have a different experience depending on their partner. I think that affects it. I happen to be with somebody who finds pregnancy very sexy. So that makes me feel very sexy.” (Honestly, how dare her say that some women have a different experience then her. She is the lucky one because she has Brad and he finds her so sexy. What is to say all men don't find their pregnant wife sexy? She wants to be the sexiest pregnant woman alive and it is funny to me because I think most pregnant women could careless about being sexy. It is good that she is the ultimate "sexy" for Brad, as it should be. More comical she has to convince the world she is the sexiest pregnant woman. Makes me chuckle alot.)
On her international family: “When I was growing up I wanted to adopt, because I was aware there were kids that didn’t have parents. It’s not a humanitarian thing, because I don’t see it as a sacrifice. It’s a gift. We’re all lucky to have each other. I look at Shiloh—because, obviously, physically, she is the one that looks like Brad and I when we were little—and say, ‘If these were our brothers and sisters, how much would we have known by the time we were six that it took into our 30s and 40s to figure out?’ I suppose I’m giving them the childhood I always wished I had.(Say what?? If she would of had the childhood she wanted, would the outcome of her life been different? I hope her kids don't say the same thing about the childhood they would of wanted when they grow up. Just goes to show, most people do the best they can raising their children, sad shame when the result is not good enough for the child, like in Jolie's case.)
On daughter Shiloh’s birth: “We were in this little hospital in Africa when Shi was born. I don’t think there was anybody else in the hospital. It was just a little cottage, the three of us. It ended up being the greatest thing…. I had a C-section and I found it fascinating. I didn’t find it a sacrifice and I didn’t find it a painful experience. I found it a fascinating miracle of what a body can do.” (I thought her brother was in the room because didn't he say, the look exchanged by Brad and Angie was overwhelming love for one another in the moments after Shiloh was delivered. And again, all those poor pregnant women out there who have c sections won't get any sympathy from anyone because Jolie was fascinated about it. *eyeroll* I just can't help myself, she is so "full of herself")
On nannies never sleeping over: “We don’t ever have anybody spend the night. We may have to adjust that when the next one comes. But we do have ladies that work with us, and they’re also from different cultures and back-grounds. One lady’s a Vietnamese teacher—wonderful. One is of Congolese descent from Bel-gium. Another is from the States and is really creative and does art programs.”(I am sorry, I don't believe that for a second, NOT ONE SECOND!! Toot your horn some more Jolie!! LOL)
On artists as parents: “Artists raise their kids differently,” she said. “We communicate to the point where we probably annoy our children. We have art around the house, we have books, we go to plays, we talk. Our focus is art and painting and dress-up and singing. It’s what we love. So I think you can see how artists in some way raise other artists.”(Oh Dear God, we know artists raise their children different, that is why everyone is so concerned, we would hope you entertainment people would learn from the children who have been raised by artists that do it differently.)

Like I said, I hope there children turn out exactly as they hope.
