My understanding is that if under 18 (I know of 17yr olds, but not younger) they can agree to do an exhibition, so the fight wont count on their records, but they will be allowed to fight.

personally it makes no sense to pay the $300 for lic fees and eye exams and blood work to just do a exhibiton fight.

when you can fight in VA for $25 a year and you can fight at 16 you just have to fight someone who is not more then 2 years older then you.

you know to be honest sense my team has been going to va to fight. there are many less fighters backing out at the last minute, I just cost way too much for fighters to fight in NC. they went up on thier fees this year.

but back to the fighting under 18, going to va is the way to go.
